I can say with a sense of pride and satisfaction that Sri Aurobindo Pre-University (Ind.) College has been relentlessly committed to this endeavor for the past 12 years.

Sri Aurobindo Pre-University (Ind.) College, a brainchild of Jnanadeepa Vidya Samste ®, was founded on 4th June 2001 by the Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Education (SAFE), Shimoga. Our college aims to nurture local talent among the students of the Malnad region, molding them into competent individuals in every walk of life. As a science college, we prepare fresh talent to face competitive exams and entrance tests at the national and international levels. We aim to equip our students at the pre-university level to transition comfortably into professional courses in the future. We also ensure that they are enlightened about the higher values of life and aware of the socio-economic realities of the world. Their academic, logistical, competitive, and cultural abilities are given equal importance, shaping them into capable youngsters and potential achievers.

We believe in giving wings to the hopes and dreams of our students while keeping their cultural and moral roots intact. With this noble purpose as our supreme goal and the divine grace of God, we hope to scale new heights in the coming years.
